DESCRIPTION:The Responding to Resistance training is the first in a two-part series to help frontline field officers mitigate the risks associated with police-citizen interactions that involved non-compliance.  \nThe ability to make quick\, life-and-death decisions is a critical skill—one that must be honed to prevent unnecessary use of force. The training will increase the student’s comprehensive knowledge of use of force issues\, conducted electrical weapons\, court cases\, training\, and use of force related risk management.
